Thanks for visiting.  I have been practicing law for 25 years.  I am aware of the risk of alleging attempted extortion.  I do not do so lightly.  

 

In this instance, the conduct of Civil RICO Defendant John Fenley absolutely qualifies as attempted and/or conspiracy to commit extortion by coercion.

 

"Extortion by coercion" is the legal term for RICO predicate act at issue here.  See 18 U.S.C. § 1951.  There are other predicate acts (crimes) that apply as well.
